Our Yoga Classes

From signature hot yoga to restorative yin, find the perfect class for your journey.

Westcoast Hot Yoga offers a comprehensive selection of classes designed to meet practitioners at every level of their journey. From our signature 26-posture hot yoga series to restorative Yin sessions and energizing Flow practices, you'll find the perfect class to suit your goals, schedule, and experience level.

Hot Yoga (Beginners Series)

Our foundational hot yoga class follows the traditional 26-posture series and two breathing exercises, practiced in a room heated to approximately 105 degrees Fahrenheit. This 90-minute class systematically works every part of your body, including muscles you never knew you had. The consistent sequence allows students to track their progress over time, building strength, flexibility, and mental discipline with each practice.

The 26-posture series is specifically designed for beginners while remaining challenging enough for advanced practitioners. Each pose builds upon the previous one, warming up the body progressively and preparing you for deeper stretches. Research published in the Journal of Physical Activity and Health demonstrates that this style of heated yoga improves lower body strength, joint range of motion, and balance in healthy adults.

60-Minute Hot Express

For practitioners with busy schedules, our 60-minute Hot Express class delivers the core benefits of our signature series in a condensed format. This class includes a curated selection of the most impactful postures from the traditional sequence, allowing you to maintain your practice even on time-limited days. The heated environment ensures your muscles warm quickly, making efficient use of every minute on the mat.

Yin Yoga

Balance your hot yoga practice with Yin Yoga, a meditative approach that targets the deep connective tissues of the body. Holding poses for 3-5 minutes allows you to access the fascia, ligaments, and joints in ways that active practices cannot reach. Practiced at a comfortable room temperature, Yin Yoga cultivates patience, surrender, and profound relaxation.

This style is particularly beneficial for those seeking stress relief, improved flexibility, and a deeper mind-body connection. Many students find that incorporating Yin into their weekly routine enhances their performance in more active classes while promoting recovery and mental clarity.

Flow Yoga (Vinyasa)

Our Flow classes link breath with movement in a dynamic, creative sequence that changes each session. Set in a warm room, these classes build cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility while encouraging creative expression. Flow is ideal for practitioners who enjoy variety and want to explore different aspects of the yoga tradition beyond the fixed sequence.

Power Hot Yoga

For those seeking an athletic challenge, Power Hot Yoga combines traditional postures with strength-building holds and transitions. This class pushes your physical limits while maintaining mindful awareness. Expect a vigorous workout that leaves you feeling strong, accomplished, and thoroughly cleansed.

Restorative Yoga

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is slow down. Our Restorative classes use props to support the body in passive poses, allowing complete relaxation of muscles and nervous system. This practice is particularly beneficial for recovery from intense training, managing stress, or providing gentle movement on rest days.
